kokanee salmon & powerbait

merry christmas to all,i need help with these kokanee salmon i cant figure out how to catch them on hard water i need info please & a lot of people talk about powerbait,witch one & how do you use it.i hope some people are luckyer then i am with them.thank you very much

I use eggs on a small teardrop and do ok. I dont know what type of lake you are fishing but in the lake I fish it seems they like to be in shore more that then trout. If you are getting trout try going a little more in and try again. Hope it helps.
