Anyone Trout Fish in PA?
« on: Feb 02, 2024, 05:51 PM »
Heading down near Harrisburg PA this weekend 2/3-2/4 and hoping to get some trout fishing in. Anyone have any recommendations on where to stay, preferably on a creek or stream that we can fly fish or center pin? Thanks
Look for the beer flag, that's where i'm at

Can't help you on a place to stay, but check out Boiling Springs, PA if you can go that far. https://www.visithersheyharrisburg.org/trails/adventure-trail/fishing/

Did you find a place?  How did it go?  Just curious.

next time you come down to PA to fish for trout you need to come to Central PA, particularly Centre and Clinton Counties.  We have Spring Creek in Bellefonte that is very well known as an excellent stream fishery for trout.  All Catch and release.  We have Bald Eagle stream below Milesburg that is well known for large brown trout this time of year.  Also have Little Juniata River/spruce creek about 20 minutes from State College.  In Clinton county have alot of small steams and Pine Creek.  I love Kettle Creek above the Bush dam and Young Woman's creek close by.  Lots of streams and fun fishing.  Nez
