Wheelhouse Cable
« on: Mar 05, 2022, 10:25 AM »
I’ve never used stainless cable on my wheelhouse but this is the year I’m scheduled to change it. Galvanized is slightly stronger but needs changing more often. Those of you that use stainless, is 316 the grade I should use and 7x19 the wire count?

Yes I would go with type 316 stainless it's more corrosive resistant than a 304 or 430
And the 7x19 will give you more flex in the cable than a 7x7 which is stiffer.
Your right on both choices.

Good Luck all
