I take small sheet metal screws and add as many as I want to the bottoms of my Ice Mans, only screw them in to the beefier portions of the sole. Every once and a while, I loose one, but no big think, I just add another. I tend to add a lot around the heals and more to the outside edges of the sides. If I want to use the boots for hunting next fall, I just remove the screws.
