NO, I didn't catch it but here's the story. Making a last ditch effort to beat Juniors pike of the year. His was 42.5". Running tip ups this morning, had 3 throwbacks and had a decent one cut me off. A fella from a spearing shack comes walking over. Says I've got a proposition for ya. Pull my shack in and I've got a pretty decent fish you can have. I don't care to clean pike but I've got a neighbor that would take one that was washed up on the beach for 2 days. I drive over to his shack and this is what's laying there!! Junior's record still holds, I was at the right spot at the right time just had the wrong "bait" This bruiser was 43.5 long and just shy of 23 lbs.
