Same... not as much as I used to, since I don't chase catfish as much as I used to, though.

There's a little ditch/creek a few hundred yards from my house loaded with chubs, shiners, and the occasional sunfish or bullhead. Getting a mess of little 4-8" baitfish on a little glass noodle rod is actually pretty fun.

Post by: darkeyez on Apr 04, 2022, 04:00 PM: While fishing small streams for native brook trout I have managed to get some small brookies around that size. Most of the time they aren't even hooked but hanging on to the end of the worm, those little brookies are absolutely beautiful.
