25 at lake louise yesterday morning

SOOOO when will we be able to tow out the shacks? I know a little premature BUT one year we towed them out the first week of November... C'mon cold weather..

Had a decent freeze at the cabin Sunday AM. Totally frosted the top on my boat. I wonder if it will go to indian summer like it has in the past.

Mid to upper twenties all week at the lake...I can see the ice forming now...lol I CANT WAIT

This is the first year when I have actually been mad that it warmed up and thawed out. I was lovin' it!

An inch of snow at Alpine Creek Lodge this AM. It is coming fast this year.

I had a good freeze here in Anchorage. 1/2 inch of solid ice in a bucket! It's a start anyway.

I did see some ice around the smaller ponds at LL last weekend. They will ice up fast.

37 degrees at midnight..... it is gonna take forever to freeze that lake this year. I walked on the smaller lakes last weekend.... Dinty might be a good place to start this year.

gotta find me a dern machine before i get real excited.....Dirt aint got a loaner for me to ride this year! have a good lead on one for cheep cheep but damn just not connectin with the guy.....maybe this week.......a cheepy beater is better than nothin! spose ill stop by tonite and if hes about see if we cant fire it up and let me determine whether its still worth a crap....

Dirt isn't loaning or riding double this year. Too hard on the old mans back.

It is 17 degrees right now. About 6" of new snow and the wind is howling.

Winter made a surprise appearance here the other day, it put quite the hurtin on the east coast with trees down and millions of people without power in 4 states ! Today it will be 50+ degrees,  ???
