Yesterday me and boys launched out of north bay and hit a bunch of waypoints all the way too jewel, no perch and dumped one eye, then we trailered too Cleveland and scowered godfrey area, pins, dink perch, I came back with an empty bucket, So this morning big jimmy took off for southshore too fish with slamboney and me and hippy brian left out of apps totally on the blind.. Fished deep yesterday, decided today too go against the grain and fish shallow away from the crowds...first hole grabbed my perch then our 3rd stop around noon I grabbed my eyes ....2 well over 20 inches and one 18 too seal the deal... Hard 2 days of fishin, but it was fun, pulled into Apps only too see my buddy Big jimmy in first. that was good times!!!!!

Glad I didn't enter. Only managed 3 dink perch. But did find two slammers in the back of my truck when I got back to Godfrey. Thank you whoever put them there.
Marked fish all day but they would not commit.

!!! Snagger the weather channel predicts a colder than average March and a late spring this year. Do you agree and will this keep the fish in the not so aggressive mid winter pattern longer? Seems in years past the hot spot at the end of the season is the Sylvan Beach area, do you expect that happen again this year or is the current conditions going to create a different scenario?

WOW....just found out that Texas Tool Traders up'ed the price on the m18 Fuel drill that I just ordered. I got it for $199, and now it is priced at $279. Not sure what happened there!

Went back to Chaumont for me today and it was terrible. Reminded me of an ice fishing version of some really bad days on Seneca. 3 of us fished hard all day with little to show, not even a dozen dink perch between the 3 of us. Don't think we ever had a decent mark all day long that I would consider a walleye...oh well.

Congratulation Snagg and Big Jim, thought about stopping by Apps this morning and getting in on the action but had a good feeling that it was going to be a donation to the the powers that be ( snagger that is ) . Good call on my part, fished out of Taft Bay and only managed 1 perch ( small at that ) . This mid-winter lull is starting to wear on me, hoping to have at least 1 or 2 more of those days that keep you coming back, ( limit of Eye's in 20 minutes, perch bite that only allows you to fish with one rod ) .

Excellent. We walked from Long Point to the southwest drop of Cherry Island in under 30 minutes pulling a clam Voyager. Conditions are great, fishing sucked. Or maybe we just suck $:-\$

Great video. Now I understand what's happening when I see those nice marks on the vex that don't commit.

Would never had thought a pickerel, of all fish, would shun a quivering minnow like that. Used to see that a lot with big perch and big bluegills when we were sightfishing in shallow water.

Going to try the North Shore today; with the way it's been going be real happy to end up with a few nice perch and a walleye or two.
