Good to hear they're grabbing guys this yr!
On a lighter note, this does get me thinking.  I've heard a few reports from sources that I'm not all that confident in of limits and lots of extra throw backs.  While lots of guys are struggling.
From areas I wouldn't expect.   Might have to start thinking outside the box.

That'd make sense to me. I had my best fishing last February. Same spots this year are dry as a bone. Nothing but dinks.

They've gotta be out there somewhere.

At The Oneida Lake Association meeting last spring the head honcho from Cortland said they were going to release arrest and fine information to the papers. It was up to concerned people to contact the media to get them printed... I have never seen them  He also said we should push the JP`s for stiff penalties..If they don`t , elect one that will..

just got some info on another perch and eye over the limit ,I'm not even going to list the numbers, just going to say keep their licence for a couple of years and a $2.000.00 fine might work in this case

Fred,   IMO   can you list the names of these offenders.  Maybe this would be better than what the law will charge them with.  Some times the courts are way too lenient

I know a guy and his girlfriend had 120 gills on otisco and the Dec gave both of them tickets for being 10 over the limit. I know it happened, I just never saw it in print.... anywhere. Wonder why environmental offenders only get a small blurb in the NYON but rarely any from our area....

all that slush is frooze solid now. 23 to 24" of ice with very little snow. the wind yesterday blew alot of it off. high pressure system comming in for the weekend. good luck to everyone fishing the tourney.   Sully...
