Nope. Saw a couple small groups early but by afternoon we were all alone. I think the wind kept people away.

What's the thoughts on all this fresh runoff going into the lake? Make the fish more active? Maybe push them out to deeper water? Makes no difference to them? Just curious to see if there's any theories.

just read where the water running in the holes is colder than water under the ice. So it will slow the bite. Just what I read.

lake effect snow watch from tonight through tuesday morning 7+ inches of snow. If we get all that snow wont it prevent the slush form freezing solid? It could get a lot worse out there before it gets better

Tried out my new snow shoes yesterday. They are great , even in slush. Looks like they will come in handy

THIS FRIGGIN SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lose the snow just to get more, before she tightens up. Looks like more talks of basketball, cooking, sharpening of blades, height or lack thereof of HT, racks, wheels and everything in-between.

Well, seeing as I have ALL day it will likely be the shepherds pie recipe I shared here the other day. If for some reason it doesn't happen, I will defrost some marinara sauce made out of tomatoes from my garden, served over my last lb. of home made macaroni!

Who needs ice fishing. I am starting what will surely be an all day marathon of some fairy princess show with my daughters. It might not last all day because we watched 14 episodes yesterday and I am not sure how many are left. Errr how is the ice, where can I find some eyes or perch (not picky), are wheelers a go yet? Also, I can't believe the ref made that call, I use an electric knife, black frabil suit, no creepers, and a 6" lazor.

There that should cover me for the rest of today.

I spent the day at the in-laws

1 minute of b-ball and id be asleep so I tied some flies last night...
Fried crappies, homemade mac n cheese, an bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with veggie cream cheese
