Raining in Cassville too.  Glad I got my snow blower out last night and opened up the other section of my driveway.  Going to get messy out there the next few days.

34 mostly cloudy in Edgewater, no real rain to speak of, we did have 15 minutes of freezing rain/ice.  There is a few guys out but I don't see any machines.  Snow pack is getting real heavy.  Kind of a bad week to be on vacation,  but atleast we might get some maple sap flowing over the next few days.

Florida for me next week.  Got a few things to do but looking forward to doing some surf or pier fishing with my dad.  Back in time to close out the season.

what do you guys run for a mix in your augers. My strikemaster says 24:1 right on the auger so that is what I have used. I got looking on-line and some people say to run 40:1? My auger is close to 10 years old.  It was giving me some trouble so I ran some seafoam through it and cleaned up the plug and it worked great, took it out and it wouldn't stay running, threw a new plug in last night and it runs great again but the plug I took out was fouled and there is quite a bit of oil leaking out of the exhaust. I think I'll dump the gas and remix, maybe I was tired when I mixed that batch.

Freddy, you make 45 perch sound like a slow day. That's my kind of slow.  I know what you mean though, the perch were like rockets nailing the rap a week ago, last time out they were red blobs hugging the bottom.

Great fish from the big lake pooch and kingfisher.

I won't get back on the ice after vacation, I have race car commitments that will use that time up. Need to cut back on the hobbies but that's real hard.

I haven't fished Oneida lake before but would like to give it a shot, was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a decent spot that can be accessed rather easily on foot.

Mat mine said 24:1 also I'm running non-E 91 with the 40:1 strike master oil ,with a touch of seafoam , and It's fine
but at 10 hours thats only 4 perch per hour , thats not whipping, thats a good ol buzzard pace , took it easy today cleaned up 3 drive ways and shoveled my roof

sounds like a relaxing day off, thanks for the info Freddy. I'll probably switch, although I did get 8-10 years out of that first plug.

All yours Stormy.  I'll keep track from the sunny state.

No shanty, no heater, no slush. Just big fish, sun, warm weather, Bikini's, cold beer, Don't know a thing about fishing down there but I'm gonna learn.

See you all when I get back. Good Luck to everyone.

Was out for a bit this afternoon . Slush is starting to show thru in usual places and edges / heaves . You want to have momentum and extra Hp to spare if needed on a sled . Snow is heavy and settling still a nightmare walking and don't own a wheeler but would not even attempt it .  This is N W end .
