Got these on Oneida on Sunday, got out there early and were just loading up the truck when the rain moved in. New personal best for me on Oneida 26" and 6lbs 11oz. We had a really good day caught a lot of shorts but managed almost a full limit for our group.

Went out the South Shore this morning with my boy and his friend along with Racer....nice to catch up with you. Bite was slow, grabbed a couple of keepers and then moved to the West. Picked up a couple more keepers and put back plenty of small ones. Ice was great, machines on the lake. She was singing quite a bit. Just a dusting of snow, very slick to walk on.

  Good too see you got the boys out there, nice job guys!!!!

Another fantastic day on the Big O . What a way to end the vacation.....Started out by hanging next to gutbucket50 and seeing him ice 10 waldos.

Between myself, gutbucket and my nephew...we manged 40 jumbo perch and 5 walters. We fished the North side in about 23 ft of water. Seen 2 different snow machines...a mottled bald eagle (first year)  and the ice was 6 inches. This is a banner year IMHO.

  That's a good looking pile there Minettoman, hardcoring it without a shanty I see.... Man its tough being on the computer end of the first good ice bite.  Nice Work!!!!!

I drool over these pictures every year and have yet to make it out there....I sure hope to soon. It really doesn't get better than jumbo perch and walleye......Great job guys!

Ok so how bad is the snow out there on the lake? We have about 6" back home here and am still wondering if I should bring the wheeler with me tomorrow. I am gonna be at apps by 3 or so as long as the roads are good and hopefully the cracks stiffen up at bit by Saturday morning cause I am sure it gonna be crazy out there.

Calling for total accumulations around 10-12" by tomorrow.  The few days of easy walking that we had are over for the time being.

I had about 4" of snow this morning on the south side and it's still comming down.  I still wonder how much ice built in those spots that had 1.5" last weekend, I might have to recon on Friday before I go blazing out there on my sled.

I was thinking the same thing both sides of lake and the ice is not uniform , one spot I was on late last week had 4" of good had ice walked out 25' and drove the spud through with 1 half arsed strike , but a couple days it did make ice , but caution should be used , now you can't see what you are walking

Anyone who decides to venture out on a machine this weekend that hasn't been out yet needs to be extremely careful. The ice isn't a uniform 7-8" everywhere. It was tough enough walking around the bad areas with a light dusting of snow. The areas I saw machines (north shore around Constantia) Wednesday were ok but not great. Do a little thinking before blasting out to your favorite spots.

Coming sat cant wait anyone been fishing lewis.   All I fish is the eyeballsss.  Be stayin at motel for the night get in 2 days.  Stoked been fiswhing gay black lake waitin for the ice .  Murdered the crappie and gills but nothing like Oneida.  love the boinggggg. jig jig jig

Fished out of Constantia today.  A few dink perch and a drum between two of us. Glad we took the wheeler though because dragging a sled had to be brutal with the snow.
