went down to kangaroo mini storage today to put up a sign.....I then drove down to big bay.....i'm happy to say its locked up shore to shore and as far out as I could see. obviously not walkable yet but definatly more then a skim.....i won't be long now

rule of thumb is the first week in jan. for deeper water for eyes and perch , but you might get some bays for pans a little sooner , it would be nice to get an earlier jump on it

I'm looking off my porch in amazment the ice on the south pond is tough as nails and hasn't broken up in a week now I'd say a couple really cold nights to thicken it up and I may be after some eyes really soon

I was suprised to see ice on the West end this morning. It didn't get very cold but it was dead calm.

well looking at the next 10 days weather maybe next Sunday but I just got home and can't see what condition the ice is in after today I think it held together I will keep ya posted

Kinda the south sandy pond has no public access though I may have a first ice get together I have room for maybe 10 trucks to park at my house

I drove by Deruyter lake yesterday, it looked like most of lake was ice covered. Not Oneida but it's something.

Just throwing it out there a lady that works with my fiancé is selling there 4 bed 2 bath on the south pond... It's not Threw a realtor yet but they are selling now. If anyone interested let me know:) and I got a parking spit for the winter
