It's that time between deer season and first ice that kills me. There is always about a two week period...

between deer and ice is easy run the beagels for some bunny hunting and MAYBE that honey to dolist!

Deer hunting is also the only thing that is keeping my mind off the fact we have no snow or ice yet. But the pressure is on for me to connect with Bambi since opening day when my wife scored first.

<~~~~~~~~been tagged out (got my 3, till Late Muzzy season) and with East winds its really bad for me lately, I even helped my wife wash dishes over the weekend I was so bored....if anybody needs ice its me....

It doesn't feel like hunting season to me without a good snowfall. It's coming to the last week for rifle for me and I've seen a total of 3 deer all season...with the snow this morning i'll get outa school early and hit the stand, hoping for even a decent doe haha.

15 day forcast doesn't look too good for ice either. Hope they missed something.

Nobody has mentioned this... BUT....regular deer season ends in less than two weeks with late season bow/muzzle loader going not much further then that....what do we do AFTER that?

i guess we'll have to hibernate til the ice gets here. no hunting/no fishing=not much fun

well if theres still no ice, we can don our waders and walk out into the lakes and rivers

Muzzle loader ends the 22nd. If we have a warm spell after that, the 14' grumman comes out of hibernation. If I can't do that, stay away from me because I will be one miserable old bxxxxxx waiting for ice.

There will definitely be ice within 2 weeks, you will just have to travel north.

Going to get my 14' Grumman out on the river as well,but cant wait till it freezes!!!
