Finicky fooler/jawjacker & rod storage
« on: Jan 19, 2022, 06:42 PM »
Looking for ways other than a bucket to efficiently-safely store 2 finicky foolers and a jawjacker along with the 3 rods used with them.  Thinking a soft side rod bag. Anyone doing anything different?

I use a soft sided rod bag & works for me to keep everything stored in one place & protected.

I would think an Eagle Claw or a Flambeau rod locker may be a good choice ..the foam inserts are removable and/or can be moved

I started with a Cabela's soft sided bag, and it did it's purpose, but I got tired of folding in my reel handles.  SO I picked up an Eagle Claw rod locker hard sided case, and it fits my rod and jaw jacker great.  It does take up more room in my sled, but that's what the sled is for.

Good ideas.  I already have an eagle claw box and flambeau box for me and my son.  Maybe we have a few too many rods???  No.....that's crazy talk :)
