Bought a Milwaukee 18 volt fuel drill for my auger about two years ago used it maybe 6 times and it just stopped working battery is good tried it in another drill anyone else have this problem

Once mine would not do anything. I just turned the torque setting from hammer to drill and back a few times and turned the torque to 1 and back to full again. I'm not sure if it was a connection or what but worked fine and am a few hundred holes later fine along with a few playsets, forts, and many other projects.

ive had 2 drill and sawsall stop on me, in my 35yrs in construction. all three were trigger switch issues. id look there first.

I have a Milwaukee that has refused to work and then it does. Makes me think the battery is dead but it isn't. As Riverscum says it's a trigger switch issue.

What model M18 ? My fwd/rev switch on my 2704 would have a funky spot ..some models several years ago had trigger issues

Just a thought also, if you purchased the drill 2 yrs ago it is more than likely still under warranty. Milwaukee tools have date codes so if you don't have your receipt they could use the date code tag if readable. I have many Milwaukee tools and only had a couple of issues with any of them. 1 was a trigger problem as well and Milwaukee repaired them free of charge. That particular drill, I had bought refurbished and never worked when I received it, but the local repair shop took it in and repaired it free including parts and labor within 2 days.

Yes it is under warranty and idid take it to a local repair shop in crown point
