Wilson’s
« on: Feb 05, 2022, 04:00 PM »
Lake looks great for tomorrow. A little slush spot right in front of ramp but should freeze overnight. And estimated 12in total of ice out there with no snow left . Bring your ice creepers . 🎣

Think I'll try to give give Wilsons a shot today. Need to grab some bait but Bob's in Dayville opens at 7 so will swing over there. then head up to Wilson's. Foot feels Ok so we will give it a shot.

Great to get out and Fish with the Shanty group up at Wilsons. One big old Yellow Perch and a few wind flags but was great to get out. Foot held up ok if the weather holds I'll take a run at pushing up Bowdish tomorrow to use up the rest of my shiners. Have a line on a deep channel from one of my neighbors I'll give it a shot and keep everyone informed of any luck.

Water is up a foot , dam is open and flowing heavy. You would need a ladder to get on at ramp . I don’t know thickness out there . Hopefully the water level will drop and accessibility will be easier. Be careful

Thanks for the update I think I’m gonna hang them up for the season I was able to get out three times in perfect conditions this year on Lincoln Woods and the New Hampshire. Went to Lincoln Woods a little while ago North Cove it’s holding a small section of ice I saw some fresh holes out there but I didn’t look good in and big section of it got ripped open with the wind. Mother nature in two days pretty much screwed up some great conditions that she created! :%$#!: i’ll keep an eye on the shanty to see how you guys are making out tight lines and stay safe!

The dam is open and lake dropped a foot so the water at the edge is gone . Ice looks good . Broken ice at edge is probably 6 inches thick still.
