Waited a bit to post, but pulled in my PB rainbow through the ice this year, at 26 inches. It’s an FWP stocker but counts all the same I guess😂 released back after the photo

Thanks for the tip. I did try grabbing it on the very outside plate, By the time we put it back it was done bleeding, And it did release. It's not a weak fragile little trout

Congrats on the success, wish I was on the ice having that kind of luck. Don’t mind others that judge your success. It is more of a jealousy thing in my mind than anything. If it is legal to keep, then keep your take, as long as it is being utilized. Looks like lots of tasty meals!
