I went out to the FWP office on Friday and they wouldn't sell me one till today. I guess you can't make plans to go fishing early in the morning on the first of March unless you do it online and thar probably doesn't work till after 8.

They'll never do that...they're experts at it...just look at some of the things they've supported at the expense of fish & wildlife. They just keep rolling....

License  was $16.50 AND a $2.00 "convenience" fee?
Nope.
I'll wait.
Can't to this day figure why the up charge for something that requires zero involvement from a human being, one would think there would be a discount.

Just picked up mine at the local hardware store.  Here is a tip for those of you with kids under 15 yet.  Buy their license before they turn 16, you get the youth rate at time of purchase regardless of when they turn 16.  I get the sportsman's so just purchased discounted youth deer and elk tags for my soon to be 16 year old.  I like to rag on FWP as much as anyone but they are good to our youth.

Doesn't the convenience fee apply to over-the-counter also? I'm not sure if there is any advantage to going to the store.
