Vermilion Ice Fishing

Happy New Years everyone! After the craziness that is the Holidays we packed up and headed North for the cabin on Vermilion. We did a lot of different types of fishing while up there (BWCA Lake Trout, Hole Hopping for Walleye, Fishing from a Permanent House) and we were met with some really tough fishing. This video was filmed on New Years Day when it was -22 degrees. I expected more of the same but wound up catching over 30 fish this morning. Even though my day didn't go according to plan it was a nice change of pace!
