Blue Gill Palooza

Made It out with Stinkybaits today in the Snow Storm. We hit a new spot and found a mass school of fish. Fish were up shallow in 5-6ft next to heavy weed lines. Ended up with 120 gills 7.5-9", most were around the 8" range...just nice thick eaters. Lead wraps with no bait was the ticket.

Nice pile there.  My hand is sore thinking about cleaning 120 at one time, but that is a quick way to fill the freezer.  WTG!   :tipup:

Not really that many to clean when you divide them by 3. I will clean 45, Stinky  45, and I gave 30 to a friend.

Good deal...I need to find some friends that will clean them!  All the people I give them to want them cleaned first.   :'(

What's the limit in Indiana? 50 in Pa. Nice mess,about 10 zip locks in freezer. I'm about max out on freezer space,just going to kept a few the rest of the season to eat fresh. You guys got nice gills out there.

Looks like you did as good as my son and I did on Sun.  It was his first day this year so I let him borrow the vex all day.  He had a ball and is ready to back.  He didn't think that I could fish without the vex and I proved him wrong.
