The Gut

Headed up to the islands in a few weeks and was wondering if there are any pike in the area called the gut? Also any help on access would be appreciated . Thx

Plenty of pike in the gut. We have fished it a few times this year. When you cross the bridge from grand isle to n. hero bang a left into knights point state park. Go out off the beach and hang to the right. Anywhere in there will have good fishing. If you go all the way to the right into Hibbard bay you should have fun.

Nice... Thank for the advice. We are using our ATVs   Are ther any Chanel's or soft areas we should look out for??

When you go out around the point I usually try and stay away from the edge, tends to be soft.

very dismall up north. I actually got called out to head to CT for storm damage repair so I was off the ice at noon yesterday. I hope you guys did better than us.

There is a larger than usual pressure crack out there this year.  Be careful near it or crossing it.  I have not seen anyone cross it yet this year.
