I'm a very happy camper, , , ,
Pitbell & I were verry happy. This fish look lots of line, and a while to come up. Pitbell had to reposition the fish to get him to fit through the 8" hole. Man what a big freeking head! 41inches and 22.6 lbs

Nice to see you boys finally got into some char. Did better than I did this last week for char. I was concentrating on burbot. I want to find the bay they are spawning in. Did fish a few hours for char but they were not interested in my offerings. I could see them on the Vex but they didn't want to play.
A couple of wolves dug up some of my set lines and I had to track them for a bit to get them back. Somewhere out there, there is a few hooks impaled on some wolves. Marten got into my cabin and wreaked havoc. A few conibears will take care of them next week.
So are you hooked on char fishing now? They taste really good canned, especially that size. Wish I could have been there to see the smiles. I'm sure pitbells was just as big as yours.
I will post some pics of my trip later. Going back next week for 5 more days and hope to do more char fishing.

Wow, that is one heck of a big fish! Are those stocked fish, or a natural population? Biggest char I've ever caught was probably in the 5 lb range.

Terry I have a place you can enter for a fishing tourny any time this year for free and any time. you do need a pic with you and the fish, and a pic with the fish and a tape measurer. You also need a witness.
