Hang it Up
« on: Mar 11, 2019, 09:19 AM »
Got out to sodus on saturday. The walk was not fun, not gonna lie. Fish were aggressive but the dinks were overwhelming. Saw some real nice northerns on camera. Had one flag and hook popped of on the hook set. BUMMER. I think that's a wrap. Unless I wanna float around in a tube on 5'' of standing water on top of the ice. Got to try out the flasher so that was cool. Till next time.

We had great luck on sodus early on with several large perch and our last trip up we caught several dink’s and only 10 keepers. Had a screen full of fish on the flasher all day only thing we were catching fish on was minnow heads. Whole minnows were not working well.

Similar results for us. Oh well. Time for walleye opener, trout, and thunder chickens.

Actually, walleye closes Saturday and won't open 'til first Sat in May.

But only two and a half weeks to Trout Opener in the Finger Lakes tribs!!!!!
