Got out with some friends this afternoon and jigged up a variety of panish in 5' to 18' of water on small jigs tipped with waxworms.  Got a couple 9" Bluegill and this 9 5/8" Bluegill-Redbreast Hybrid, still looking for a 10" this winter.

My son and I get about 1 fish every trip that hits the 10 inch mark,we fished March 4 and I got a 10 1/4 female gill and a huge 10 plus Pumkinseed. It was a very good year with for large bulls, but then again most fish are 9- 9 1/2 inches. With over 45 years of ice fishing,When the 11 inch fish coming? The fish have been fussy this year and small lures worked best Ratso's,Gill Pill, but the other day I tried bigger a Frisbee jig(CJ&S) with a wax worm and got the two big fish out of the same hole in 14 fow, within 5 minutes apart.
