I checked 10+ ponds in the north woods up here found everything between a skim and 4"  chisel as you go. Seems to be the only way this year.

Another dollar lost but another great day spent on the ice in N.W.R.I.  Thanks to Flick for doing the scouting and A.T and Tanner for bringing lunch. Four lousy oz. cost me again. It’s still out there.   Fish on!

Hate to say it but I've moved on to open water this season for 2020. Racked up the Ice Gear last night into the Rafters. Next winter I'll be able to travel and find ice. Due to some personal and project stuff this winter I was not able to get off my home lake. Next season will be a totally different story If there is no ice I'll truck it back up to the old stomping grounds in Maine and fish there. Got out once with 3 traps while working on my stone walls on the lakefront. Skunk. Be safe the remainder of the season all and have a productive spring, summer and fall of open water fishing.

Still fishing up in North Central  Mass with Flick and Mr.P. 45 min-1 hr. drive but so worth the time and gas. A few more trips before we have to head West to finish the season.  Be safe!

Nice work! Good to see someone else that is still walking on water! Keep it going!
Just add water.

I called it quits on Friday. I was lucky enough to meet up with Manny at Plainfield Pond for a great day to end my season. Finished the year without a skunking. Probably because I never did get out on pike waters. Still managed 30+ days on the ice. Already looking forward to next year.  Take care,
