Could anyone be nice enough to tell me if there are any laker lakes frozen yet in the pg area ? Got a new set up for x-mas and really itching to try it out! Not looking for your honey hole .

I went on a mission to some big water for Lakers west of pg just before new year's and it was a bust. Hiked into open water.

Gonna head out tomorrow to a lake I’ll let you know. Hope it’s enough ice for sleds

Cluculz cam shows its finally iced over. Ill still say another week or two before it's safe tho. so hopefully that means some of the ling lakes will be solid for this weekend...

I want to try saxton but I've been told the only entrance is on a guys driveway. I'm not too keen on leaving my truck on someones property and I dont own a sled. Is there any other way? Or is it public property down to the lake?
