Running for flags:
Can anyone tell me if able to make it to butler island from kings bay?

We went out there a couple of weeks ago, before the warm spell. There was a serious pressure ridge extending all the way from the point to Butler. We were able to cross it then...barely. I don't know how it is now but I would exercise extreme caution.
