Frank, I got word that they were driving on at the 78Bridge and Dillenbeck
Curious if the crack at Donaldson point before Campbell's is still being crossed by trucks?
I crossed it in a truck on Saturday 2/19. These cold temps should stiffen everything up before the snow and make it safe. I'm hoping to go up that way again on Sunday.
VT-Jig, what is it about my statement you are curious about?
I guess it just seems a bit risky TO ME to drive over ice hazards, in my own personal opinion, so I'm curious as to why people do it... If its simply that it just doesn't scare the hell outta you as a fisherman , then the more power to ya, definitely fish them honey holes, man. im also the guy who gets irrationally nervous when 30" thick ice starts singing. So go figure.
Live and let live. You dont drive on the ice thats fine. You'd hate to have a bunch of guys give you crap for your decision not to drive on....I do it because its no more dangerous than walking on 4" and because its awesome.
I can't disagree with that logic.
