Title: Season change.
Post by: Mr. Charlie on Feb 14, 2022, 01:06 PM
I’m from PA where walleyes are tough to come by anywhere aside from big rivers. I do my best to target them and have had some pretty solid success early season. The same technique/location I was employing has dwindled out. Any tips on what I’m doing wrong?

I had been finding them sunrise/sunset on flats off steep banks relative to structure. I tip up fish these areas and had a pretty good run early this season. Now I’ve lost them.

Any tips would be great.

As the water warms the walleye will begin staging in spawning areas.... In inland lakes with no moving water it coukd be shallow gravel flats with rivers creeks or streams flowing in they will be near the mouth or have moved into the flow by now
