baboosic lake

anyone been to baboosic this winter? where to fish on baboosic?

Only once this year and it was a quick trip. we fished off the amherst public beach, just out of the cove to the right. we had no luck.

big bait on the east end and you should have good luck with big bass and pickeral, if you jig the perch will also be active around there.  You will see navagational markers and there is a sunken island there, fishing right off the edges of it seems to produce fish.  The west end of the lake will get you a lot of flags with the smaller bait, usually perch and bass, i think we had about 40 flags the last time we were over there.

Hi ,Do you need a Amherst Resident Sticker to park at the public beach?

I don't have a sticker, and have not had any problems. One local ice fisher said they only care in the summer.

at the town beach you don't need a resident sticker in the winter.  You can get a 4 wheeler or a snowmobile on, the path is right next to the little snack shack they have there.  It isn't tall enough to bring a hardside through, but very managable towing a gear sled
