you still need to put the arrow on the picture, then 4 boxes show. put the arrow on the bottom box. then left click, it will highlight it, right click, and the click on copy. then, go to reply box, right click, then click on paste. i had the same trouble at first.

I have a photobucket account and when i copy the url and paste it on this site for my avatar all that happens is a box with a question mark in it shows up for the picture. How do I get the picture to show up instead. any help would be appreciated.

copy the bottom box, Img Code, and paste it in the reply box.

If you mean the box after i have my own picture, thats what ive been trying. My avatar just shows up as the question mark in the box.

You do have the image resized to 120 X 120 or smaller- right? Just asking. And this is a link (url) not like the image posting markup for into a message.

One more dumb question - it is a jpg image?

Sounds to me like there has to be a typo in the url somewhere.

for avatars, click on the second box, Direct Link, copy, paste.

Ok, I got my picture to show up in the avatar picture spot but it says it is to large. I try to click edit on photo bucket then change the size to 120 x 90 and save it but then when I go back to the album and use the direct link but it still says its to big. Do you know how to fix this problem.

the second one, Direct Link. the image must be avatar size. 120x120

When I resize the image to 120 i cant seem to click the direct link without it changing it back to the big size. Is there a way to click the direct link right from the edit/resizing page.

i had that problem. resize, the go back to the 'my albums' page, and copy it there.

Thanks for helping me through this pooley. I finally went on my album page and clicked on the picture which brought it up big. I then resized it on that page. This had the direct link which I copied into my add picture box. 8)
