Post by: Agronomist_at_IA on Sep 26, 2019, 09:47 PM
So it is the time of year I usually buy a new panfish plastic mold.

Looking for ideas or molds to look at to purchase. Below are pics of the pastic molds I have.

After I get my new mold I'll be making some plastics to give away in the pay it forward post.

Do-It has a series of fry molds. Pic is the 1.75". There's a 2.5" and now a 1".

Really fine salt, anise, commercial scents I got at Walmart.......pretty much whatever. Some I put in the plastic, some I just put in the jar and marinate the plastics in it. Mostly I just marinate them in the jars

I've also got a power bait crappie one I used too and some anise. I've also rolled them in fine salt on the outside of the plastic.

Besides using those scents has a marinade, I will also put fine salt and anise in when melting and pouring plastic sometimes.
