I have never fished this pond nor the derby but i will be there and to try it. i have to work at 1 so i will be weighing in at noon and hitting the road back to town. it should be really fun. the guy who owns the bar and putting the derby together is a hell ofa guy. nice man

Not fished it, but the entry fee is 15 bucks and the winner takes home a lot of money.  The trout are a little finnicky it sounds to me like, but there is a lot of barleypop to be had so it should be fun

Also I just want to clarify which willow creek reservoir we are talking about.  The one by Harrison AKA Harrison Res. or the one up by August, MT????  I would also like to know when the tourny is though...

last weekend in January, but I will check at the Buckhorn when I get back to Augusta tonight and let you guys know

its Jan 29 and for the pple around Helena u can sigh up at Dapper Ds before hand so when u get up there things can move a little more smooth for ya
