any ice reports on Sherman or Davis creek, ice around GI not to good yet but getting close.

I too am waiting for an ice report for these two lakes. Might have to go for a road trip this afternoon.

I don't have a fishing report. But I did poke a couple holes to check ice. Marina bay had 4.5" and out front of our dock up in trail 8 was also 4" . Talked to one fishermen who caught some small crappies.

problyfishin must be Tim. After Christmas I'll be ready to go whenever you are!
We are working at the lake again. I'll be 50 yards from the ice wich makes it real hard to think about working

Anytime you need a Sherman report let me know. Even if I am not on the lake I know a guy that is on the ice just about every day.

We had a couple hours to kill this afternoon at Sherman. We fished back in a bay and picked up some small Crappie and white bass. Ice was 7". I'm not sure how thick the ice is out further in the lake. There were a couple guys with 4 wheelers parked by the dam. Not thick enough for me to drive mine out there yet!

Has anybody heard anything about Davis Creek yet? I am debating between the two for this saturday.

I haven't heard anything about davis yet but if you were going to choose between the two I would choose sherman due to the fact that davis scares the ^*&(%^*%&**%$&^%&(* out of me. So many springs and if you're not familiar with the lake you can get yourself into real trouble. Besides the way the weather has been not to sure if it's a safe choice just yet. Just my 2 cents.

Although I am familiar with the lake I am uncertain about the ice as well however whether I go to one or the other I will let everybody know how it went.
