Been there the last 2-3 days. The ice is around 6-8" thick, now the other day there was open water around the edge but you could get on around the handicap ramp dragging your stuff over the rocks. Just beware the game wardens are keeping a close eye on it because there are a huge amount of 14.75" fish being caught.

Any truth to a lot of 6-8 inch walleyes being caught there as well? My source has been known to exaggerate fish lengths in both directions.
