IM stuck at my desk today, so anyone venture out? Been hearing reports of thicker ice at glen, and kirwin and smaller bodies. anyone have some first hand reports?
-
I am thinking about running up there this afternoon to see firsthand how it looks.
-
im getting a few reports as we speak ill post them up as I get them. we only get so long to ice fish here
-
sounds good if the reports are positive I will be heading that way at noon. If not I will run to kanopolis check conditions there.
-
ill post up a kanop report shortly

ice from yankee run and north, tower harbor is froze, ice around all the shorelines except loder. don't know if the ice is safe at yankee brush piles. I think they will be ice fishing at tower harbor and yankee by this weekend. the lake was open yesterday though. so it cant be that thick. hope that saves you some time and money

thanks i stil may run over there and atleast drill some holes from the docks by the tower and see

about an inch of ice around the docks in the marina at kanopolis and iced over from about buzzard bay to the north end. no fishable ice at this time at kanopolis.

Ice on edges at Melvern, all ramps open, most ponds and creeks slick. 1"-1 1/2" won't be long.....??
