Perch
« on: Mar 20, 2018, 04:29 PM »
Spent the day on the ice, 5 traps out without any flags but once this gang of perch showed up it was like playing a computer game trying to get them to hit. Caught a bunch of them on a tiny jig tipped with a piece of worm. They were biting very light but it was fun.

Your camera looks great. It seems like the perch are finicky everytime I've been out. Very light bite on a jig rod!

WhiteMTfish, how deep can you realistically see fish? Can’t find if it has lights or not. Wondering if it would be suitable for lakers?
Perhaps I should not have been a fisherman, he thought. But that was the thing that I was born for.

That pickerel was about 20 feet down. The deepest I’ve used it is 30 feet and I could see fine.

Appreciate the feedback. Sounds like a sweet little unit.
