Snow and more snow

I usually think of mid/late march as great ice fishing . You can move on the ice easily as there is little or no snow to hinder your activity. Holy crap , not this year !

we've been pretty lucky most of the season though. I can't remember a season when we had such great ice and such great walking conditions for 90% of it.
