Title: Anyone using ANGLR Bullseye Fishing Tracker?
Post by: esox_xtm on Apr 02, 2019, 10:11 AM
Great concept. I've tried physical logging but I'm just not consistent enough, notebook gets damaged or lost, just doesn't work for me but the value is priceless. The price is certainly right.

Just curious if anyone has had some hands on with this and your opinion.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I'm just afraid it will be like Navionics, start out free and then when your hooked, boom here comes the fee.

It's a paid thing already. Batteries can't be charged so every two years. You would be paying @ 15.00 a year.

Not overpriced for sure if it works as advertised. Unfortunately most products fail to do that. If anyone buys it sure won't be the first 30 they wasted nor the last.

I just wish I wasn't so gullible. 71 and still dumb as a brick.

Yep. I got the "non-replaceable" battery. Also looked at the other product that fastens to your rod. Counts casts, hooksets, a whole bunch of stuff but more than I need/want and I use too many rods for too many different things to keep moving it around.

Maybe I'll take a swing. Goodness knows it's only about 4 civilized cocktails so I can say I've spent more for less. Now's a good time to start so odds are I'll jump.

Speaking of Navionics is anyone willing to share the annual fee on that? I thought the initial hit was obnoxious. If it's too much to maintain I'm walking away from that. OTH the instant maps of where ever you are or thinking of going are awesome even if they're not always perfect.

"4 civilized cocktails " ......  Love it!!  Im of the pencil and paper ilk, but that never works either....'I'll do it when I get home'.....same with go pro, or most other cool things that one could do while fishing....im just always too busy fishing!!

I'm in that same boat perchnut. BUT... If I could easily get my grubby paws on some of that data I'd find that very valuable. It's just the taking time out from fishing to log. Press a button? In!  ;D
