Title: Weekend

Did nobody go fishing this weekend?  If they did, no stories?  Or did nobody catch anything?

I went fishing, lots of perch one ling several trout had a eye to the hole and lost her. Had a few eye hits after I lost one but they where not real aggressive. I fished hauser lake. Anyone catch any eyes?

Where is Hauser Lake? I went to Nelson Reservoir and got nothing. I had three flags go up, but no fish. Once, the minnow was totally nibbled off.

Hauser lake is about 5 to six miles north of East Helena. If you get on lake Helena drive you cant miss it. I go in at the causeway. Its a dike you have to drive across. I drive my snowmobile down the lake a couple miles and stay in about 30 to 40 feet of water during the day. Early morning and evening from 11 to 15 feet of water. I am after walleye of course but you cant beet the taste of perch.
