One more time

Headed out tomorrow for one more Indiana trip. If things hold up on St. Clair Ill be going up there for another day trip this week.

was out on clear lake in Laporte on Sunday 3/3.  the edges were soft but about 15 ft out was 5"

I go back to work Saturday night... might be over by the time I'm off again. Local for cast is calling for 60s by next Thursday.  Got some good red ear today and a couple nice gills... gonna hit it at first light... bite was really tough.

There isn't any Ice in my area that is going to be safe enough to get on come Monday . Supposed to get a good amount of rain Saturday plus high winds for three days to follow .with rain in the forecast for those days also . And highs close to 50+.... Maxi will be open water in no time and I'm hearing there is quite a bit of open water at the slough also . Sure hope we don't hear of any more deaths or close calls in the days to come ! Just ain't worth it after this Friday IMO

Not this season. Had a few issues. Going to wait to get the boat out now. No since getting equipment out this late in the game. There is always next year.

I agree... the bite was on fire tonight.  The fish were rising off the bottom to meet the jig as it fell

The ice I was on NE was actually the best ice I had seen in weeks. It was around 6" of good clear ice. Fish weren't killing the flys, but the ones I hooked up with were dandy's. Ill be out again this morning. hopefully catch the bite early.

Stay on em while you can.  I'm stuck on the gulf coast until the weather gets crappy at home!  Maybe there will be a little ice to walk on when I get back.

Had to skip this morning die to unforseen issue...but definitely tomorrow morning.
