amazing for sure

My camera view would be far more limited assuming that the water was clear and visibility fine. I can really see the movement of individual fish. Amazing.

Yeah, way better than a camera if you ask me.

Looks like this is a must have for any guide  Service. I'm curious how something like this would work in turbulent water, Like Rapids or a fast moving stream. Thinking fly fishing to a degree.
In winter we become gods and walk on water....

In the guide arena, it will be "Go big or go home!"  What a wonderful tool to show your clients that there are actually fish interested in what they are doing.

Here is another one that was just posted of schooling crappies. Equally amazing. Better than a camera!

Without a doubt great technology. Although I ask myself when I am out in nature especially open water do I want to spend my time looking at a screen. When ice fishing in a flipover I can justify looking at my flasher but man I enjoy being in the outdoors and not being tied to electronics.

I知 betting that in a few years we値l prob have a HUD or google glasses type that will link to your finder and piviot in the direction your looking like they do with fighter pilots and their guns hehe
Also, yes, I think it痴 much more versatile and useful than a camera.

I've spent a ton of money on cameras and sonar, and now I see this? ...............Damn! I do believe it is better than the camera. My camera can only see maybe 20 feet distant if the water's clear. This thing can see a lot farther than that. Not to mention the camera only sees what it's pointing at, and even with a fairly wide angle it's nothing like as wide as this Livescope is looking at.

It can work make the guides work more too.  If a customer shows up with one of these and says "there's no fish here, put us on fish".  Then again, if you have one of these do you need a guide? you just need to drill lots of holes and hop away.

Have a camera and it has been used twice in 2 years, too cumbersome to drag out...Marcum 485.

I have one and let me tell you that the Garmin Panoptics ice kit is no Christmas present to drag around either, at least compared to my hole hopping setup!  But it does work good and is very fun.
