Looks like the whites vastly out number the blacks on that lake? I think I see one black crappie but can't make out the farthest ones very good.
We were on the fox chain. It was probably 5 whites to every black we got out there that day. The blacks were running small so not many made the grade. We ended up keeping some a lot smaller than I'd like due to being badly hooked. Got a few yellow bass as well. I hope the shoreline ice isnt eaten too far back by next weekend. Already time to walk the plank.
Good for you, not so much for me, but I'll keep trying.
It's all you can do. We all have our good days and slow days. Sometimes slow days can be good too. The other day we got into some nice bluegills. Didnt catch alot, the bite was tough, but they were big for me. For the lake I will not name they come alot bigger yet. Good luck fishing gentleman.
