Is there still a decent amount of walleyes and perch south of the bridge? When I was a kid (a couple decades ago) my dad and I would make a few trips up there....Thanks

The walleye population is nothing like in the past   It is starting to get better thanks to the efforts of a lot of people but they are few and far between.    North of Southbay holds some areas that are a lot better for the eyes.     The bay has been good for panfish/ crappies but a lot more white perch are showing up.  Good pike fishing and a ton of bass.  One day last year we caught 23 bass. Great for kids not so great if your looking to fill the freezer

DO NOT WALK UNDER THE BRIDGE EVER !!!!! The ice around the bridge is never any good no matter how cold it gets.
