I've had my fair share of lucky experiences on the ice so I know better than to not return the favor. I dropped my pack off my sled in Cumberland Bay two years ago, with probably 20 people on the ice. It was right by shore and I was a good 1/2 mile out. Now add to that fact, that it was a $100 Camelbak Stryker camo pack, with all my gear and lures in it and my license pinned to the outside in a license holder. I hadn't even fully set up yet when an older guy came walking out with it and gave it back to me...I had no money to give him but I told him there aren't many people like that anymore. Still shocked to this day...
Common sense isn't so common.

The fishing was always better yesterday.

Jiggn, that was a great post , those two older gentlemen will remember that for a long time . We should all learn a little from that kind gesture .
Morning sun rising, a hot cup of coffee and flags a flyin , priceless!!
