Two guys out on Huddle this a.m.  No thanks.  I'll wait awhile.

FYI, when its this cold, and there's no snow on the ice, I've seen lake george put on 2" of ice/day.  I'm betting anything that froze by wednesday morning will have at least 3.5"-4" by saturday, if not more.   Heck, a few years ago, the main basin went from open water to 8" of solid ice in 4 days time.

Just to be safe though, you should all wait a few weeks until some of us have tested it thoroughly   ;D

Big Red, no open water in my pics, just spots where the wind blew off the skiff of snow.  Very windy here in Schroon, wondering if some areas that froze last night broke up with this wind.
