Lake Winnipeg ICE

I talked to a few people at the Winnipeg ice show about the lake ice, guys are going out and doing well, has anyone on here been out and what thickness of ice did you find?

Was out Friday morning. Gave up after two hours and running out of minnows. Non stop action, nothing big. 7” of solid blue/black ice. East side.

Chalet Beach Saturday by snowmobile  - 14 inches of Ice.  Some rough areas but shaping up well.   Good fishing.

Heading out tomorrow on sled from Bal.bay. is there enough snow for sliders?
First time out this year.
