Today's catch

Today was off Trophy perch hunting. Well trophy perch is still swimming. The following were 9 inches in average with one being 10.5.

Glad to see there is ice somewhere! I only hope that we get at least one week of ice down here thats fishable in NY.

I had similar results today too. Great to see some of them on the ice, instead of in the boat like mine were

were getting lots of perch in u.p. of mich. also,,,all within 18" of bottom

I tried using some eyes but they were not interested which shocks me. The tip of the day was a tiny jig with a split shot about a ft above the jig and just a the head of  a salted minnow for bait. They were biting very very soft. The ice thickness was 16 inches howere the slush was unreal!!!! The depth we were fishing in was 12ft and I swear I caught the majority of these watching my Vexlar. The They were actually a ft off the bottom today for whatever reason. All day long the sonar was showing fish but they just would not go for it. I was out after a trophy but could not find any. Thanks for the replies guy's.
