I am going to try to make this one, but I have a question. I haven't got any electronics, and I'm having a rough go at getting anything through the ice. Would it be a complete waste of time to try The Shab without any? I'll more than likely head out anyways. Maybe one of you guys can give me a demo on how flashers work, or who knows, maybe I'll just get lucky guessing. Either way, it would be fun to meet a few of the guys.

What time we meeting and exactly where at never been to this lake?!!! I drive an old blue ford expedition and it will have a tool box on the hitch. I am very exited to learn from everyone, around here its just been me on the water and have yet to see anyone else out there lol!

All are welcome, Im starting in the morning come when ya can Im sure we will have more specific news when the day gets close, but its looking like tree fishing for some crappie for me hopefully

fishing the trees will be new to me. i like new. anybody know how the ice fared after this warm up.
even though it will be fine on the 22nd. Warm up really trashed my pet lake. ice was 6 foot from shore.

Robar144 and I will roll in about 8am also. Greyish Green Excursion with a big ol' dent in the front bumper. On the ice, we'll be in the Giant Black Cabela's Shanty. It's going to be COLD, hopefully the wind won't be insane. Looking forward to it!

Plan on being there early. hoping to drag a friend who doesnt get much time on the ice.
silver dodge black cap. On the ice old blue 2 man shanty with silver tape.
I will have to leave in the afternoon for a meeting.

What is the fifty foot rule? I know on thinner ice i use a 5' rule.
